I just drove 600 miles and the Intake gave me 2-3mpg diference at 80mph.  So I guess the intake will pay it selfoff sooner or later!!!

Anyone try one of these stupid things, says up to 33% increase in mileage.   :roflsmiley:  I just bought one for 12 bucks and installed it, anything to help my gas guzzling Ferd.

I've seen stuff like that on TV and in parts stores.  They say by creating a "vortex" air goes in faster thus better volumetric efficiency, yada, yada, yada..  :blah:

I'm curious if those work or not.  :dunno:
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

yeah I'll keep you posted, can't tell with city driving, but will know as soon as I head out to a job, can't see it doing much considering after the little vortex the intake pipe takes a 90 into a rectanguar outlet. I'll let ya all know though..lol.
