68 Road Runner project - A real challenge
« on: October 10, 2006 - 11:55:46 AM »
I bought a 68 Road Runner several years ago, without realizing what I was getting into.

The good: Original engine, 383 Magnum, auto on column, build sheet, fender tag, rare gold color, runs, sounds great, good glass, top of car is very solid.

The bad: along with the standard floors, trunk, and quarters needing replaced, the frame rails are all shot.

I can't do any of the work myself, and don't have the money to pay someone else to do it (4 kids, 1 in college, 1 starting next year). Also, I bought a Cuda project that is much less needy, and I will be devoting my meager resources to getting it worked on, so the RR will never get any attention.

Anyway, the RR's just sitting in a friends building and I need to get rid of it. I've listed it on a couple of sites, but no serious action. I would like to get $3500 out of it. If anyone is interested, PM me, and I'll send you some photo links.
