    Your custom dream car, please no 71 Hemi Cuda Convertibles 4spd

    1965 Barracuda formula S Clone

    Stroked 3.9 liter FI V-6 to 273CI paxton supercharger Iner cooled and water Injected , 400hp
    6 speed,  Independent Rear suspension, Altercation front end, Flaming River steering box,  power windows all 4
    mini tubed to hold 295 55 R 15 tires and 225 55 r 15 on large Bolt pattern weld rims, 4 wheel Wilwoods,
    electronic exhaust cut outs and a custom set of 1 78" headers cerama coated, 3" exhaust
    smoothed dash with mopar aftermarket Guages 6 way seats, AC, targa top, stock interior
    besides accomidation for mini tub and CD MP3 player and dash, rear chrome panel above truck
    changerd to 66 with fish emblem, Formula S stripe, color Undecided

    and a goal weight of under 2750 lbs

    1970 Challenger T/A clone. Black with blue stripes. XV Motorsports Stage 2 brakes and suspension. Borla exhaust. Custom instrument panel form rockymountain dashes. t-56 six speed transmisison. Dana 60 rear with 3.73 gears and a locker. Engine all aluminum fuel injected hemi (+800 hp pump gas). Flaming river tuff wheel. Oversized Mopar Rally wheels or an open 5 spoke deisgn. Black interior. Just mean to the core! (And a 1971 Hemi 'Cuda convertible with a 4-speed, curious yellow or B5 blue. Had to throw that in there since I have always wanted one.)

    Seriously though,
    My perfect car would be exactly what I have now. Only with more moddifications.
    68 Barracuda Fastback, PPG Black, Formula-S 340 Stroked to 416, Supercharged, Intercooled, Keisler 5 speed, Alter-K-tion front end, Custom 4-Link Rear with Coilovers (More modern suspension, but keeps the solid rear axle) and 4.10 gears. Mini tubbed for slightly wider 275/295 Tires. Rear disk brake conversion.

    Trick is, I want to keep my wheels. I think they fit the car perfectly! Problem with that is, small bolt pattern. I may have to sell them and buy large bolt pattern!


    That's the exact car I am building, piece by piece! I can't wait to have the money to finish it...   :jumping: :2thumbs:

    '69 RoadRunner, 383 4-spd, bucket seats.
    Hemi Orange, with Ignition and exhaust upgrades as well as frame connectors.

    I know its probably one of the most common b-bodies out there (I know several of our members have owned these in the past, and many still own them today) but Thats one of the reasons I want one.

    They are so common in the states that very few people bother to import them into NZ (I know of 1 in the country) because if your going to go to the expense of importing a car you will generally import something a little more valuable/desireable (like a charger or challenger).

    So basically, it will be rare down here, because it is common in the states.

    Same reason Id also like a '73 RoadRunner or '68 barracuda.

    I own my dream car, I just wish it had a few changes.


    '71 Challenger

    Body:
    Hard Top; Sublime with Black T/A hood; fiberglass fenders and bumpers(to save weight); frame connectors, etc.

    Drivetrain:
    Supercharged, fuel-injected small block making 500-600 horsepower with a smooth idle at 700 RPM...aluminum everything; A518 lockup with 2500 stall; Aluminum Driveshaft; Aluminum 8 3/4 with 3.91 gears and locker unit. 

    Suspension:
    Alter-K-Tion front suspention with rack and pinion steering (also saves weight); 4-Wheel disc brakes; HD rear leafs with rear sway bar; etc.

    Other:
    TTI Polished Ceramic headers, TTI dual 3" exhaust, Cold A/C, New stereo system, LED brake lights, etc., etc., etc.


    Does the quarter in the 11's and tuned to get 20+ mpg on the Highway.   :bigsmile:

    Maybe if I ever win the lottery.  :woohoo:

    Dream car has been the same since high school. 1970 Barracuda Gran Coupe convertible. Could be a host of colors but lemon twist stands out in my mind. White top and interior, rubber bumpers front and back, 'Cuda hood with pins, dual painted mirrors, power top, windows, air conditioning, top engine for the car 383/4 with a pistol gripped 4 speed, leather buckets. yup that would do it right there  :woohoo:
