SE rear window change
« on: October 11, 2006 - 10:02:52 AM »
Can you remove the rear window insert on a Challenger SE and install a standard rear window? would the trim clip studs be a problem also?   thanks

The top and all trim are gone, the small window is all that's left. will the trim clip studs be there?

Red's out of town till the weekend.  The plug just screws in and I don't recall any studs on the window opening.  Here is a pic of ours before we put the window plug back in.  I know it's an odd angle...it's looking down from the roof of the car.

OK, so I guess the studs could be put on for the window trim?  I don't know if those are welded or what?

or you can use screws to hold the trim clops in place as long as the trim clips are installed Before the window
