    RT hood decal ?

      I see Challenger RT's with vinyl tops and the black hood decal, I like it but is it proper? in all the old ads I've seen they didn't. if you know that maybe you can also tell me is there a place to get  70 Challenger trim, the around the headlight pieces? I see the hood piece but the other two must not be available repop?  thanks

    Those items usually came with options so they are correct.

    the headlight trim I assume you are talking about PG Classics has ( some folks have had a bad experience with service but I have not)

     Thanks, I like the black but I thought maybe it was incorrect with the top.  I see now in the picture the trim is part of the bezel that explains  why the trim isn't available alone . sorry for all the questions guys but I'm shopping for a car and trying to learn what's right and wrong.  thanks

    The hood black-out is a decal and is coded on the fender tag as 'V21', it was available with or without the vinyl top.

    The headlight bezels on most 70 Challengers seem to get banged up on the outer trim part. They are available after-market now, but I have not heard of anyone's experience going that route yet. The original bezels can be found on E-Bay once in a while, but be prepared to spend MUCH more than what the repro's cost.
