70 cuda 440 6 pac
« on: October 13, 2006 - 06:46:50 PM »
Well, I'm considering selling 1 of my 2 cuda's.  I've noticed prices seem to be softening...I've got limited space and am currently working on my 71 cuda HEMI.   I've been contemplating selling my 70 if the $ was there.

This was originally  a  383 4 spd, no tags, or build sheet,  real Cuda.  Now a, plum Crazy, 440, 6 pac recently professionally built engine, six pac, and trans, electronic ignition.  355 rear, 4 speed, I've upgraded most everything from this 3 year old body restoration.  Engine was rebuilt by NAPA NASCAR Shop. Trans from Passion performance, new sixpac.  All new suspension, including front end, shocks, leaf springs, and front and rear sway bars.

Would like to hear feedback on what values may be???

This one bid a little above $35,000 and wasn't a real Cuda.  Your car is much nicer.  Maybe it will give you a starting place for ideas.

Damn shame!!!  Seems like values are dropping...I guess it's like selling your home and having all that personal investment. Because I don't Have to sell, I'd probably just keep "MY BABY". Rather than selling Cheap???

I think we need either R/E to go back up, or more RICH ( Mopar lovin') babyboomers to retire!

PS. I guess it's going to be the $50K garage enlargement :hyper: :scared: :scared:

A friend and I were discussing this sobering thought the other day. Don't forget folks! A large portion of the young guys are just not interested in old muscle anymore. They like Jappos all dressed up with the stereo and the turbocharger(and the gas mileage). When the world runs out of baby boomers (soon) what will the value of our cars be? We guessed way less than now. Feel sorry for those guys paying $100K plus hoping for the big price increase. Not to mention as to how long we will be able to run the smoggers on the road. In Canada they are talking about pollution from lawnmowers and I believe the US was the big push for 4 stroke Motocross bikes. I am building mine for me -  in 15 years if it is worth zilch then so be it.

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.
