The Beep Beep record.
« on: October 14, 2006 - 11:19:03 PM »
Check out this car dealership record I found today while cleaning up the garage when I was working on the compressor. I don't have a record player anymore. I wanted to hear it.

Same here. I can't imagine how tough it would be to get a replacement cartridge for it now anyway.  :clueless:

Very cool!  Looks like it's in really great shape!

Play it backwards.  Maybe there's a secret message that says, "Ford stinks, Chevy is worse......" (Sorry Ford and Chevy fans  :misbehaving: )

No I wouldn't do that.  :nono:

There could be satanic subliminal messages that will convert me to become a Ford addict.  :22yikes:

If you want to send it to me I'll burn it to CD and mail the CD and record back to you (yes, I know that's a leap of faith...)

My folks have a record player at home. I'm going to try to play it there. I do plan to sell it on E Bay. Anybody have a clue what it could be worth?

To the right person....  :money:

Go to a B-body website and try to get some interest going.  To a Road Runner fan this is a great item to have!

I don't think it's anything like this but I remember like maybe 6-7 years ago I saw Johnny Lightning came out with little hotwheel size cars with a CD or something of a song about the car.

I remember seeing "Hey Little Cobra" by The Rip Chords accompanying a 427 Shelby Cobra.  Wonder if they had this tune also with a little Road Runner?  :dunno:

I just put it on E bay. It'll be interesting to what it fetches. I also found another one that is in better condition yesterday in the same pile of old records.

Would love to see the link to check it's progress!
