...following the MOPAR market from way back in the early 1980s....I thought my '69 Daytona (10K mile original) was topped out pricewise at $15k....prices couldn't get any higher, could they ?....89 days later I sold it for $47K....it later sold for $66K and is a six figure car now....for several years during the 1990s, prices leveled out, not much appreciation but really very little correction either on QUALITY cars...quality always sells, quality always brings the big money and always will...prices CAN'T continue at todays rate of increase, but I am still buying QUALITY.....
...my philosophy was simple all along....buy the best there is and above all, buy what you like and you will never go wrong...bottom line, cars are a GREAT investment over time and a lot of fun too
pix...my 1st collector car investment, a 1961 Vette.... paid $2,100 and sold it a few months later for $4,200...REALLY BIG MONEY TO ME IN 1975
.... (I know it ain't a MOPAR, but I was young and foolish then)...my second collector car investment was a 1962 Vette...paid $4,800 for it and sold for $6,400 a few months later.....THE VERY SAME CAR IS AT A LOCAL COLLECTOR DEALER FOR $89k...
...invest and enjoy, you will never be unhappy with a MOPAR in your garage
