Looking at the car, it's a great place to start. But, as a starting point, there is significant rust visible in the rockers. That's common, but can be a Pandora's box. As a 318 car, it makes the initial cost the only way to try to keep from spending too much to get a nice result when it's done. The bodywork alone, done by a typical body shop (not resto, but a normal shop) if they take it would be well over 7K(I'd price 8-9 after materials) for rust repair and refinishing. If the end result is a car valued at $15K on the high side, spending 5 to buy it and not knowing about the rest of the parts gets me nervous. IMO, no year hHallenger is undersirable. But 72-74 are less desirable, and as a JH car, it's the lower end of the spectrum. Very nice car. I would pay $4K tomorrow for it. I'd suggest relisting, with a start price of $3K, and a reserve you can live with. Mention having the parts, but they are not included in the auction. Then a cheapscate bidder can worry about finding them, and a better off guy knows the parts are an easy score. I think on Ebag you will get over 7 for it, but you'll have to watch the bidding go on for a little while first.
