Wow.... It has been a long time since I have posted an update to this. Time slips by so quick with kids!!!
Anyway, I have actually been doing a bit of work to my car over the last several months. In that time, I have hung the full TTI 3" exhaust system with Hooker Aero Chamber mufflers, plumbed the fuel lines, plumbed the power steering, worked out a oil line routing issue, plumbed the AC, and worked on buttoning up the electrical.
Last night I put power through the electrical system and started to work out issues regarding the lighting. Luckily, that has gone really well with no big issues. (Just had my turn signals reversed, both front and back!
)
At this point, I have about 70% of the electrical hooked up, but I have say it felt good to finally see some sign of life pumping through the car after SEVEN years!!!!!
It kills me to realize it has been that long since I got the car and it has yet to come to life.
By my estimate, there is still about 15 hours of work to do in prep before finally trying to fire up the engine. A lot of precautions I want to take, since it has been sitting so long.
One thing I do have a question about is regarding priming the oil pump in the Hemi. Are there any tricks to get the distributor gear out to put the priming shaft in?
