i'm an old school guy whose project car (70 cuda ) originally started out to be a hot rod but of course has evolved into a full blown restoration. as we all know it's because most people scrutinize the cars condition,
paint , wheels, interior etc. but most still are clueless as to what these cars are all about. but you guys do...and will appreciate the following. ... i'm stitting at a red light next to a reved-up import to which i'm totally oblivious..but i guess he thinks it's time for the stoplight drags. so i'm thinking DRIVE & and he's thinking
DRAG.   He bolts from the line and gets at least 8 carlenghts out on me & i have'nt even let up the clutch.
keep in mind that it's rush hour and i look like a fool in front of 2 dozen on-lookers. (but only momentarily)
my ride is a recent build and has never been race tested but all i can say is AWESOME. I reacted out of pure surprise & punched open the full tri-power setup. it was like a star trek movie special effect. with 1st gear alone and less than 2 seconds i was a blur alongside the ricer. now that's power!

i just noticed some other things that are missing from this photo.  the correct mirrors, chin spoilers, engine callouts, emblems raised white letter tires etc

Not too long ago I had a 73 Cuda with only a 318 in it, and was using it as a daily driver.  I swear I couldn't drive it once to work and once from work without something crazy happening directed toward me.  Gotta love it.

Now that I have a 440 in a 74 Barracuda, I don't take it on the streets, but just as well.

Sounds like you might want to keep a tally of wins/losses on that badboy.  Love your Cuda.  Laters.
