    1Badfish it is too bad that you had to let your dream car go! but I know you felt it was going to cost you way too much to put it into driveable condition!! with all the parts that were missing and everything it needed!!     That sucks your original deal didn't go too well and that you finally decided to just sell the car.  Another true AAR will come along sooner or later. :cheers:

    Man that sucks Dave, that really bites. I know the story on the "deal" previously so I really feel for you mate. Next time you know to view the car in person and to deal with an honest person.

    Your car will come bud, hang in there and watch the trader mags.  :cheers:

    I'm sorry to hear this is still happening and that you ended up selling your dream AAR Cuda. I have wanted a AAR Cuda or TA Challenger for about 10 years and have come to realize they are out of my price range. I hope you find another one and that it all works out for the best as these things are a bad deal for the hobby.

    Dave, the orange AAR clone in Miami is still available. I've seen it and it's very nice, but if interested fly down and take a look. Also ignore the price, I was told the car can be had in the mid 30's.

    How about I had 35K into this car OMFG! instead. I don't think the car was a bad deal at 27K considering all the money invested....if I sold it for the 35K+ I had into it...then I would have trouble sleeping at night..lol. The car did have a brand new 6 pack and tons of new parts etc.

    I was thinking the pricing was pretty reasonable if they're as clean as they look.
    They'd move 'em out fast at those prices around here. Those are B-body $'s....

    Nope, just some young guy who wanted a good shell to make a hemi clone. He has a collection of cars, mostly new stuff like Porche's, Mercedes and a new maserati.

    The mechanical part of the car I had under control, it was the bodywork that I couldn't get done. Waited for a guy to come give me an estimate for months, too busy. Plus I would have had too much money into the car. Better to take a loss and start over.   :dunno:

    Thanks for the gester though...if a nice ebody comes up let me know.  :2thumbs:

    I know of a very nice AAR that came up for sale today. FC7 white gut and 4spd. expensive though, would be double what you had into yours. Also a plum T/A auto.
