I wouldn't pay $25,000 for that car if there was $25,000 in cash hidden in it. I would still have to dispose of the car.

I just showed my 6 year old son the pic and said they wanted to sell this for a lot of money.

He said, "Ewwwwww....why?"    :roflsmiley:
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

I agree with most of the comments, its really sad to see the GTX in such sad shape. For me its way to far gone to consider but someone may take it as a challenge.
Check out the pics my friend's '71 Barrelcuda alot of people wouldn't have touched it (and still won't:D ) with a ten foot pole:

'71 Cuda 440+6

I purposely put a pic of the VIN in the page for the GTX, both on my Cars in Barns page and in the Mopar of the Month page. The before shots of the car should always be common knowledge!

Personally I'd leave it as is...mount it like art to a display of some sort. Lots of guys collect pristine cars...step out of the box and start a wrecks museum...you gotta think a car like that would draw more attention than a fully restored one! Even non car people would be drawn to take a look!

For you guys that don't know me or haven't checked out my website before, I have had a pretty good "Hot Stove Lounge" Discussion on rebodies  with a previous Mopar of the Month, you guys might remember it from Ebay a couple months back:
 Burnt Daytona

Hopefully something to think about while your shaking your head :screwy:

I the mean time I will be checking over my shoulder :villagers: :smilielol:
