Maybe I missed it, but where was the car before Des got it? Any earlier photos/history of how it ended up being in such rough shape?

I believe it was drug off a beach in Peru.
Des, again I believe, bought it out of Florida....I'm not sure if that's accurate...my memory is good, just very short :smilielol:

I remember Alan showing me this GTX in a topic about saving or scrapping rare cars. Awesome car and even more awesome the restoration it needed to be in that shape  :2thumbs:

You'll find a lot of people have different opinions on what should be saved, and what should be scrapped.
I took a lot of flack over the Barrelcuda...

Moral of the story...."to each their own"...you don't like it move on.....History has proven there is a market for restored basket cases and I'm sure I'll keep restoring them as long as there is a buyer.
