The HUGE plus is a solid body(so it seems). The minus' no drive train, and being out in New Mexico. In any event the guy does seem desperate for $$$, so this baby might go cheap. 

Yeah the NM factor is kinda far, but I would think between all the members we could "Daisey Chain" trailoring it to where it needs to go.  I know for a fact we can pickup a crate motor from Autozone for 2-3k and if we didn't want to go that route, then we could find a motor from the junkyard and get it up and running.

This guy does seem 'hard up' for cash  , so I think we could do something with it.....

My first thought is that would be the gift from hell.  It does look fairly solid and in the right price range, but with all the custom work it could only be a drag car.  The windshield wipers, brake system, and electrical have all been hacked, who knows what the dash panel looks like.

I guess my point was that he'd probably prefer a street legal car that be driven to a show or the track.  That car wouldn't pass any state inspections or be legal for the street without windshield wipers and it doesn't look like they can be put back.  That firewall with everything missing would be a pain to deal with except for a stripped down drag car.

Anyone got an extra 440 and a 4speed tranny they want to donate?

I've got an extra 4-spd w/ BB bell housing that I don't have any plans for now that I picked up the Keisler 5-spd. Sorry, no spare 440 though! Located in NYC.

That's awesome!! Between WSM and FF-fied we have a 440/4spd set-up!  You guys are awesome!!  Now we need more money to find our car!  Buy those tickets folks!

Here it is. Maybe someone should go over it, but as far as I know there's nothing wrong with it. Now will there be anyone to pick it up or maybe daisy chain it from NYC to Ohio. If I figure out my oil pressure problem in my Power Wagon, maybe someone can meet me somewhere around the NJ/PA border. I guess we have a bit of time to figure it out... have to get actually the Cuda first! Anyway, let me know. It's not going anywhere.
