cuda for cudaguy
« on: October 18, 2006 - 08:42:00 PM »
We'll be needing a cuda . . this one would be a decent choice if the price was right.  Yes I know we don't have enough money for it but we should start looking around to see what we can find.

This one is interesting too with no reserve.  I think we may be better picking up a project and working together to fix it than find a car already complete within our price range!

4C, both of those looked like great candidates for Don.  Too bad they already ended.  There's a couple decent 340 'Cudas on eBay right now...Maybe we should look into a decision as to which one to choose from. :dunno:
1973 Dodge Challenger......................The ongoing project. (00/----\00)
1991 Dodge Stealth R/T Twin-Turbo....The sunny day cruiser (RTBoost)
1990 Toyota Celica GT Liftback...........The new daily & winter driver.
All-American Muscle: 'Cudas and Challengers...Still the Elite and always will be.

Everytime I see that $10.5K 72 Cuda down in the For Sale Section, I wish I had $7K laying around.  I'd snap that up for him and get it to FishnForCuda's place so we could all work on it.

I wish we had all the money right now!

I don't know how much money we've got saved up, but there's a 73 cuda in Saco ME for sale on Ebay and no reserve at 9k.  It's got a fiberglass hood and front quarters on it, but the rest looks pretty decent.  I talked to the guy and he sent me some pics (see below).  I think he would dump it for 7 or 8k if we talked to him.

i dont know if this is the correct place to write this, but its in the secret area so it shouldnt be too bad. I would just like to say that as a guy who has also done two trips to Iraq, this makes me proud to to have served for a country like this. the fact that you guys are doing this for CudaGuy is great. when the xmas season is over, if you guys are still collecting ill definetly be down for helping out. some people dont realize the dangers that people go through in just one day over there, let alone a whole year. its nice to see that doing unselfish things can inspire others to do unselfish things. Kudos to you people here at this forum.

Thank you beetlebailey.  But, really, this is nothing in comparison to what you and all of our military are willing to do for us.  Thank you, thank you, thank you for your service!

:iagree:

Thanks to all of YOU out there who let us live our lives in peace over here.  I've got some freinds in the military, none who have served in Iraq (they are all oder) but they said they would go in a heart beat if the military would let them.  It's a great thing to see you guys serving our country as proud as you do.  The least we can do is show our support no matter if people agree with the reason we are there or not.

Anyone look at this one?  He was trying to sell it about a month ago for 9k and now he's removed the reserve.  It's only at 1,500 bucks right now.  We may be able to get it for 3k if we watch the auction and then go get it?  Just a thought.

hmmmm....4 days left.

The HUGE plus is a solid body(so it seems). The minus' no drive train, and being out in New Mexico. In any event the guy does seem desperate for $$$, so this baby might go cheap.  :naughty:

Could we remove the rollcage and un-tub it since the floors need to be changed out anyway?  Anyone got an extra 440 and a 4speed tranny they want to donate?
