White A panel trim?

Just talked to a guy who has several pieces of Apanel trim in white for a challenger.  My 70 Chally has a white interior but the A trim is black.  Did any Challys have a white A trim?  He says they are factory white - not painted. 
I thought all white interiors had black A panel trim - am I wrong?

Do you mean the A-pillar interior trim on either side of the windshield?

My '71 with H6XW interior (black and white) had white trim pieces on the A-pillar and they were solid white, not painted.  Back in the early '80s when I tried to buy new ones from the dealer, only black was available, so the car will get dyed replacements when the time comes.

Yes - the interior trim on the sides and across the top of the windshield.  Should it be white on a 70 Challenger w/ white interior?  I'm still not sure.

On a B&W interior 'verts had black, hardtops were white.

I'm not certain when I took that pic, it currently has a repop Tuff wheel with an original center cap. Hope that helps.

The Tuff wheel was an option on 70-71 E-Bodies. Grant now makes one that looks close, with a slightly different center cap. I know of other people that have just put a Mopar center cap on the Grant wheel, and it looked great!!

EDIT: There was a Tuff wheel for 72-74 E-bodies, but it only had 2 spokes, and wasn't nearly as nice looking. Same center cap though, in case you are in need of one for a Grant wheel.

Tuff wheel was never a factory option on any E body.

I stayed with Tuff wheel not because it was correct for a 71 Cuda, but because it was correct for the Nash Bridges Cuda.

I know it is only my opinion but I prefer the twin spoke 72-74 steering wheel over any other wheel that the E-body had, even the rim blow. I dont think it was a tuff wheel though, tuff wheel has the thick rim right?

Does the tough wheel have the thicker rim?  I kinda like that "feel" for drivability.

Hey 70challrtse and plumcrazy - I also noticed that 70s vert has bkack visors and black kick panels.  Were they also black for verts and white for coupes?  I've seen both black and white.  Which combo is correct?

I'm under the impression that the visor's are suppose to be white and the kickpanels were black on e-body convertibles with a white interior.

My convertible came with a white interior.  The kick panels, console,dash, and pillar trim were black.  The visors, seats, and interior panels were white.
