Maybe someday I'll go to the NATS and make a trip to your neck o'the woods!

Tom

If you all have any questions I'd be glad to help, although I'd have to admit that cars(electrical)is not my specialty but if there is a diagram we're all set.  Houses etc no problem but Local Codes differ. :2thumbs:

Congrats, Tom!

That's great!  Glad things are working out for you!

:dunno: Hey, weird off topic question related to electrical:  Is it possible to pick up radio stations on old knob and tube wiring in an old house in the attic and basement?  Sorry, I had to ask.
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

It could be but the Attic would be better Although I don't think this is an electrical question.  We use the wiring on the jobsite connected to our radio antenna when the signal is low.  Make sure there is no power on the Knob and Tube!

Good Luck and stay w/it as the Education part usually stops most from getting there.  Hey, what are the requirements in Cali?

Congrats!

Thank You Everyone, more people here(c-c.com) know about me passing than at home since I passed on Friday and didn't tell anyone I was taking it.

 The California requirements are:
Must be 18 or older
High school grad
Have completed one full year (two full semesters)of Algebra in High School or one semester of Algebra in College or adult School with passing grade of "C" or better
Must pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol test

Then if excepted you take a three part written test which they give a tutor class for.
Then if you pass that, you get an oral interview, then you wait to find out if your excepted.
I started out making $17.60 then got a raise to $18.20 about two or three weeks later, Dec 1st I'll get my next raise to $20.48 and a raise every 6 months after that for the next five years as long as I keep passing the classes.
A Journeyman Inside Wireman makes $45.51 an hour
 A Foreman makes even more
What kind of pay do they have back East?

Not that much!  Must be UNION for that Pay.  I think w/benefits here it's 58-60/hr for Licensed and Foreman more.  Private Co's pay 30-40 depending on experience + benefits  Helper's make 15-22 depending experience as well.  With home sales going down you'll see a correction in the marketplace in pay.  Supply Demand   Either that or layoffs the Major Local here has 1200-1500 members on the Book waiting for work :dunno:  And your not supposed to Moonlight to pay your bills!  Ya OK!  Half of them are collecting and then doing small jobs for cheap $$$ to supplement unemployment.  I lost a few houses this way actually 8...

Yes you have to pay the Fees and Maine,New Hampshire,Vermont, and a few others Reciprocate w/MA  It's all about the $$$  But not all states Reciprocate and not all states adopt the NEC
