Hey Tom,

Here's some more pics of the Cannonball Challenger with different lights.  Looks like they could've used the bumper bolt locations.

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

This is a 72 I had many years ago.  I added the Cuda fog lamps, didn't know it was a Cuda only option back then.  Always like they way they looked.  Considering adding them to my 70.  But as stated already, I'm having hard time spending $500 for them.

I'm not sure they would look right on a Challenger.

Here's mine, from Advance auto parts.  Very Bright! Made my own mount out of a piece of steel mounted to the sides and held in the middle behind the license plate screws.  I would have mounted them farther apart if it wasn't for the front bumper guards.

Thanks Dogg.  I'm looking at a similar setup right about where the guards are as mine doesn't have them.  You say you mounted them to the license plate bracket, that's a good idea.

Since you don't have the whiskers, Weld up a bracket that goes under those 2 bumper bolt nuts.  Then weld or bolt together another support bar to keep the lights from shaking while going over bumps. Mine actually bolt to the dummy top license plate holes. The plate keeps everything stable.

Hey Rob,
I like that setup.  I might try something like that in the future.

Also, I wonder if we crossed paths during the tour, I was with the Year One group.

I went by the Year One trailer a couple of times. I don't think we met if you don't recognize my car.  There were too many Long Haulers and One Dayers, that it was hard to see everything. I was too busy having a great time.

I was only able to go to Gainesville, Perry, and Columbia.
I was looking through my photos and I found a good one of yours.
This was at Gaineville.  A friend let me parked behind the Year One trailer. (Red '71 Challenger)

Thanks for the Pic!  For some reason, I don't see too many Hemi-orange Challengers anymore. Maybe it wasn't such a popular color back then.

I'm now trying to get my Cuda finished before next year's tour.  It seems like I'm already out of time and money.
