« on: October 21, 2006 - 03:28:50 PM »
Bought a 73 barracuda off ebay last week.Paid a very fair price. I have already replaced the floor pans, got the car running excellent, fixed the trunk gutter  and deck lid. also have the trunk extensions in. Today by my self i started at 9 am and worked to 4pm. I removed the complete front nose, and also the motor /trans/k frmae and suspension. This car is going to be goregous!

Tommrow i will make casters for the front, and powerwash the trans/motor.
Tuesday my goodmark quaters come in, hopefulyl have them on before the weekend weather permitting. Then i still have to do a frame rail, inner fender, and find a good set of front fenders. I love this stuff, wish i had a garage to work in! Once the wetaher gets nasty its all downhill from there. Ill detail /rebuild the driveline in my half of a one car garge so its ready to go in once the body is back from the body shop.

Looks like a good project, I think I remember seeing it on ebay.  How many projects do you have now?

Well the road runner is done, just needs paint and the body work done now. going to do that in the spring. My dads 340 challenger is just sititng there waiting , no rush.  other cars are done.  I just like working on them more then driving them sometimes

I can relate to you as I love working on my Challenger and Cuda. Now that my Cuda is pretty well done I'm wanting another Mopar to work on and my wife thinks I should take a break. That's not going to happen.

My favorite part is definetly building them.  When they are done its a great accomplishment, but I find myself wanting something else to build and can;t afford it without selling one.  If all goes as planned I'll be ahead and can keep both cars I got now.

BTW did you buy or try to sell that runner on ebay?  I could have swore I saw it on there before.

Powerwashed the driveline today and made up the casters for the front end. Wow,they work so good, you can move the car around by yourself with ease!

Moving right along, I must be crazy, but seeing the metal work I'm missing that kind of work on my car, find it slow getting motivated on all the little pieces to get ready to rebuild it???
Anyway, the way your moving I can watch you put it together & then copy on mine!  ;) Rich.
