Well its all dialed in now. Everything aligned and welded in. The Dutchman panel ajoining to quarter spot welds were hell to get to. Ever crawl in a trunk all cramped up and try to weld? I should've went looking to hire a midget welder to do this. First time in years I have a really nice quarter panel again. It's been a lot of work to do this and now I see why quotes to hang one on are pretty high priced.

Oh yeah, one more thing.

Be forewarned on these Goodmark panels. The fit seemed tight right at the top of the door were both edges meet and and also on the back portion of the wheel well. This was the best I could get it. The inner fender just would not go into and mate up to the quarter. So I pounded it with my hammer flat and it looks normal now.

I don't know. Would like to try a set out just to see what they'd look like on and how they fit.

I think they look good on the right colored car, they give it that more finished off look.  IMO. :clapping:  Hope you can find some or borrow them to try on. :2thumbs:

Did the firewall conversion today. Matched it up to the existing lines then sprayed primer on the inside wall. That made my template on where to cut for exact match up. Inside rain guter was sand blasted and spray painted Rust Bullit all around inside.
