Plum were ya been?  Good to hear from you. Any pics we can get of your car? It's been so long since anyone saw it, we forgot were you're at on it.

On an update, last week-end I rebuilt my Federal power steering pump. 20 bucks for the kit. Pump was free.
It's been too hot to work outside lately. Today should be doable.

Worked a few hours today. Then it became too damn hot out. Reinforcement plates were welded on LCA's.

A little done and can't wait to get full days in again once it's cooler outside.

Hey TC, you ever get any lead work done on your car? I know you were talking about doing some a month or so back. I am needing to do mine before i throw the primer on. I could use some pointers if you have any.

Lately I've been shifting focus on the getting all the parts and assemblies for the engine and transmission. Boxes arrive almost every week now. I'll get back to the body again soon but its almost ready right now for the blaster.

Recently, I rebuilt this power steering unit myself. I got it for free. Bought the Hemi pulley for it too. Still looking for that trac pac cooler for it.  Dave at Mopar Engines West helped me get the pulley pressed on. The water pump is rebuilt and is the correct casting number for my engine. I also have the correct water pump housing with the right date code and water neck for my block too. Those took a while to find.

Al sold me the distributor recently that is the right one for my engine.  :2thumbs:  I'll be doing a mock up soon of everything on the front and post some pics. Then it's time to do the tear down on the engine to send it out. I plan to do that pretty soon. Dave at MEW said he'll save me a bunch if I do that first.

What a boat anchor!!!  :faint:  (I'd love to have a similar boat anchor) LMAO That Hemi sure is sweeeeeeeet, you are going to end up with that dreaded disease called "burningrubberus-smokeyetis" doctors believe is closely related to another disease called "leadus-footeyetis". No known cure for Mopar owners. Chey and Ford owners get it occasionally too but tend to get over the disease very quickly, doctors tell them to go home and use their ford or chev for a couple of days, the disease quickly disappears, besides, it's always a very mild case to begin with for them. But you? You are screwed buddy.

Keep up the good work Mike!!!!   :clapping:
