Just making the videos inline

Waking up a Mamoth from her sleep.

She won't wake up from hibernation and run fast until she gets her feet going. I need to help.

Once the jets/metering rods are upgraded and the cam hot lash set; I bet she's going to be running alot better.

1st attempt.

Finding what does she want?

Getting better

This is the break in,
She was running lean as we learned. Later on it was discovered that one of the mechanical advance springs were disco'd. No wonder getting it timed was impossible.

Thank you!

I spent all day restoring pictures on my thread here.

Now you can go back and see alot that were missing or Red X'd.

Still more to do.

It's really never finished.
Starting to buy shaker parts now. Little by Little.

Still need to change the schumacher mounting brackets to lower it 1 inch for bubble clearance.

Was there a template you used to cut the hood?

No template.
17 1/4" hole drilled from back after under side is felt marked/scribed.

Just buy one made.   :2cents:
It was a ton of work and when I was halfway thru, I wished I had.

Looking good :2thumbs:  Sounds like a few loose valves maybe. It will hold better idle and vacuum once you reset them.  If that was your first run, congrats to you.  Hard to adjust it all during intial break in.   love it
