TC-
Looking really good.
Is the shell ready for paint?
Being a '71, I'm looking forward for the paint postion of your project
Ron
It's got a ways to go Ron. I know everything this car has been thru in its life. Right now I'm putting all my efforts on the sides then the trunk and hood last. The way it sits right now I could take to a body shop and let them finish it. I don't want to really go that route. I want the satisfaction saying..."I did it"
What I learned about doing your own bodywork is this: Once you start, don't let up. I say this because this 2 month break working on it because of the weather, has me almost trying to pick up on the momentum I had going. What happens is you think you have it perfect then you find small descrepancies later you forgot about because of the time gone by. Almost like having to start all over again.
I do know a place to rent a booth near me. But it would have to have everything done over a week-end or a 3 day holiday week-end. I would need someone to help with that much to do. That's an option to look into when it gets closer to paint time.
Got off the phone with you CODY.
Please send me the link about the sprayer. Thanks for the pointers.
