Some more progress made over the last few weeks.

Brakes all done I did last week.

Rear assembly put together today.
Wheels were sandblasted and painted.

My stereo made sound for the first time in over 15 years!
Journey was the first audible song it made.

And this has been a Journey!
Gotta go! Wash out the media out of my ears.

A few days ago, I go to my local auto body supply store.

I ask the kid working there..."Will one quart of the undercoating do both wheel well areas?
I'm spraying thru a shutz gun.

He answers..."Yes"

So today I mask everything off, get to spraying it on under the first one.
I barely cover everything just on the one wheel well. It's 12:30 in the afternoon.

"Crap" I need both done today!
So I race 25 miles to my body supply store and walk in right as they're closing at 1pm.
Nobody else closer had it. Picked up 2 more.

Good news is I got the rear all done. Next thing to do is to install the Dana axle assembly.
Nice weather today, 85 degrees today outside. Starting to become summer weather.

Looking great Topcat!!  Speaking of Black, when are you going to do the black out under the rocker trim? I can't wait to see your GB2 car on all four wheels!

I'll get to that later. Final detail perhaps.

Just bought the rear shocks.

Getting close to send my power steering box out to firm feel. And the Hemi out for Dyno test.

I chimed in on your other thread a while back. They are nothing earth shattering to say the least. If I were you, stay with your Bilsteins if you like them.    :2cents:

Topcat - any pictures of your car with the front grille removed but all of the accessories on?  I want to see the front frame rail stubs, radiator, AC condensor, horns, etc.

I am thinking about adding a radiator core support brace and want to know if adding it forward of the existing brace on the rail stubs will result in any conflicts.  Thinking about a square tube type similar to what Aron Beck made.

Painter missed some spots under the hood (which I can understand)

Mainly the hood spring areas. So today I spent quite a bit of time masking off, sanding and re doing small areas all thoughout the engine compartment that had light/too little paint.

Wheels are painted with tires mounted.
Next week I hope to put the Dana 60 assembly in and also the dash assembly.
