He told me that if it were a 8 3/4, we would've been done alot faster.
Quite a bit heavier of an assembly.

Shocks, brake lines, are next once it cools off.
Was a cooker out there today.

What did you use for the undercoating, and how applied?  I'm looking for that original "rough" finish on mine.

He told me that if it were a 8 3/4, we would've been done alot faster.

You need to buy alot of this stuff to do an entire car. I used Evercoat rubberized undercoating.

One Qt. covers one wheelwell. Spray on at 50-60 PSI thru an undercoat gun. About 1-2 feet away distance. The spray gun isn't anything fancy like paint guns can get.

Pretty much just a 1/2" hole sputtering out gobs of wet tarry goo that dries on pretty fast. I bought my undercoat gun from E Bay for like 20 bucks quite a while ago.

Nobody caught in the picture I put the rear sway bar brackets on wrong.
Since then it was fixed.

Was easy...15 minutes per side. Now they're on the right way.

Yep. It takes loads. I hated spraying it and finally brushed it on the insides of the fenders here with a paint brush and it seemed to match fairly well to samples laying around like the back side of the side marker lights etc..

Hey Topcat... video the dyno if you can!!  :)

Tomorow I will go in and visit. Her Dad said before 1 month L/T.

I got some persuading hopefully can change this. (My Homemade smoked salmon and a Franklin)  :grinyes:

Today was a good news and a bad news day.

Good news
was the speaker grilles were installed today.

The dash was a originally a single speaker OEM survivor dash in great condition. I have an AM/.FM radio I still have on my car tag. I took a pneumatic sawzawl and cut out the speaker holes. I was ever so careful not to wallow it out too big.

Earlier this week I received the 3.5" speakers (turnswitch.com) and the rear speakers as well.

When at Ohlone 2 weeks ago; I bought a 5 speaker fader harness with the rear speaker harness. The front speakers fit perfect to the new top grilles I put on today.

Bad news was the restored rear bumper I bought was flattened out in the center to be straight and doesn't follow the contours of the body. It was an OEM re chromed. OEM bumpers had a slight bow in the middle. 

I already traded my OEM original away to get the bumperettes re chromed.
Now I hope to buy it back (if its still there) and re chrome it. Praying I get it back.

I could buy a re-production; but I heard that top corner areas where they meet the body aren't contoured to meet up as well as the OEM's were.

right now I won't fret on it all. I'm outta here headin to Alaska. Over and out!
