Ouch, but glad no human injuries!

Any photos of the "setup" for lowering the car over the engine??  I might try that instead of lowering the engine into the car.
MOPAR or NO car!

Good luck with the second go around. Good to see your hard work coming together. I just finished building a house. I've been so busy with that lately, not much time to catch up on here.

After Christmas, I should have the engine in. So it'll be early next year I fire it up.
I have everything except the seats.

Good to see Mike!  :2thumbs:

I know your heart took a hit with damage, but it looks good as new.

I can't wait until you drop in the motor.

Nice job shoehorning that beast in there.  It always easier the second time, uh?   :poopoke:    :woohoo:
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Nice, like that hoist bracket  , is there a "dolly" attachment too?
How did you lift the engine up, or did you set the car down on it then use the hoist to pull it up?

Just a Cherry picker with a chain. Having it the distance away allows you to sway the front end left or right a little in case clearance becomes an issue. There was never a need to lift the engine up to the frame.

The K frame was resting on 2 sections of 4 x 4 wood sections nailed onto the moving dolly.
The moving dolly of wood I bought at Harbor Freight.

I used alot of wheels under the dolly just like a 747/C5A jetliner does to disperse the weight.
A Hemi weighs more so it was likely needed to make moving easier.

Remeber to notch the plates that bolt onto the frame so the K member will clear when it comes time to bolting it up.

I barely caught that. Lucky I did.
