340 4 bolt main block

hey i was wondering if anybody knew when chrysler was going to start produing more of the 340 4 bolt main blocks i ordered one close to 6 months and go and have had no luck in getting one yet and everyone i have talked to said there isnt one on a shelf anywhere in the country right now i was just wondering if anybody has heard anything i am in the process of building a 416 and the block is the only thing i am lacking

Matt,

  This is news to me. I know they are making the 360 block now in a couple of different varieties, but I never heard about a 340 block.  :clueless: Maybe I'm out of the loop?  :lol:

Depending on what you need, you or your builder can call Ryan at Shady Dell Speed Shop in PA. He has a few in stock I think. They may also be between casting runs. Usually LA blocks come quick. It's the Hemis and Mega blocks that can pass a sonic check that take years. literally. I really hate having to use MP castings..lol.
