« on: October 22, 2006 - 10:01:55 PM »
well it's coming sooner than later so lets get prepaired for it.worked yesterday on a friends toro snow pup,2year old gas in it.  :pullinghair: no stabil in it.next thing tear into it,new plug, remove the carb, dissasemble carb all apart soak in carb cleaner for a few hours and put all back together.4th pull fires right up, :woohoo: ok one down one to go.took mine apart this afternoon, pulled the carb and soaking it now,  :dupe: don't put your motors away without stabil.nothing like getting ready for winter when it's almost here,at least up here in minnesota.should have done it last fall but  :pullinghair: all the more work, next thing is changing the belts on my dual stage snow blower, that should be fun.  :pullinghair: stay tuned, pics to follow on the belt changing.this thing is a 73 model,OLD SCHOOL,  :22yikes:

It's 40 degrees right now...had to put the heat on last night.  We don't see much snow in Atlanta, but when we do, it's down right hilarious.  We southerners just can't handle that stuff.  :grinno:

Jeez, not already. We have skipped getting springs here about 4 years ago or so and the last few summers haven't really been stellar. And now you are telling of the white stuff?  :crying:

That is the same exact thing that happens in Georgia with the first mention of a flurry.  Its almost like people have never it before in their life.    :screwy:

Ain't it just great!  Everything closes down except the grocery stores which are packed.  Civilized people can't go one day without milk, bread and toilet paper!   :roflsmiley:  I just make sure I'm stocked up on hot chocolate and marshmallows at the beginning of winter...I have my priorities straight! :roflsmiley:
