Braces for small block mopar engine to trans. If you are running a small block, and I think an automatic trans. you need them.

I am not totally sure, but I think I have a set.  Funny thing is that the motor that came with my car (the original 318) with the original automatic had them.  It is a 1971 Barracuda too.  So, if that is the case, it is not limited to 1970.  I will try to confirm this tonight or tomorrow.

I had a 74 Satellite 318, 73 D200 360, 75 D200 360, 76 D100 360, 77 D150 360 and a 75 Trailduster 360 that had them, I see these all over the place at the wrecking yard, unless the ones pictured are some special application to a 70 Cuda, you could probably pick them up for 5 or 10 bucks off any small block car or truck
70 Cuda, 7.0L Gen-III Hemi, Viper T56 w/9310 gearset, 3.91's, Megasquirt MS3x v3.57, Innovate wideband, Firm Feel upper arms, torsion bars, springs and strut rods, QA1 DA shocks. I did everything on this car except the fancy paint stuff and I drive it...and I can't seem to stop messing with it....

'70 only eh? Every small block I know that never got headers has/had tehm. IN fact, they are on m,y '87 W350...lol. Same brackets. Headers wont fit witht hem, and I know many guys racing cars with slicks and trans brakes that no longer have them. I'd call it typical Mopar over-engineering. $40 a pair, eh? I really should go thru my scrap pile..lol.
