    It has got off to a good start. I am making a custom tag along trailer out of my parts car. See this thead: http://www.cuda-challenger.com/cc/index.php?topic=26073.0

    So far I have made the trailer hitch for the car. Still need to finish drilling some boltholes in that.

    The parts car has been cut. I have made up part of the front coupling section of the trailer. Just waiting for my friend to come with his roll back and take it to the shop. I have most of the parts now to make this happen. I do still need some stuff like 2 tires, 2 center caps for rallye wheels, and some trim parts.

    One of my friends, Mark stopped by and was a big help. Many thanks to him for all the hard work.

    I know some people will think I am  :screwy: but oh well, this is what I want.  :smokin:

    I will try to get the trailer on the road in a couple of weeks or so. Then I can worry about making it look good. I will keep posting my progress. It won't be long now, I can hardly wait.

    That rocks!  Another way to accomplish something similar would be to build a steel box structure and hang the new replacement rear quarters on it.  With enough gumption, you could build up the backend and have more storage than stock.

    Thanks Mike, It really was fun with a sawzall. It only took a few min. to make the cuts.

    Thanks Challenger73318, I think it rocks too and so do my friends and the best part, so does my wife. I guess you could do it that way, but it sounds like a lot more work (time I don't have) and money (that I don't have ether). With the spare not in side, the trunk space I think will be much more usable. The trailers spare tire will go where the gas tank was.

    I will be getting this up to the welding shop hopefully by this weekend.  :jumping:

    Thanks for all the kind words everyone. I don't have any new updates yet. I will be back up at the shop this weekend to do more work and I will get more pics.

    This may take a little longer than I first planned; this thing needs lots of patches. I was at the shop on Monday and took the last of the pics I posted. So far I have had to make everything seen and the welder has just been welding stuff together. He seems a little scared to do anything without my guidance.

    I will keep you all up to date as this progresses. So far everyone I have told about the trailer idea thinks it is really cool and I can hardly wait.
