Challenger Trailer - progress

I gotta tell ya, I love it.  I've got a friend here in austin that is planning one right now after seeing yours. 

I sure hope that top will prop up and give ya some shade during car shows.  You really need some kind of flip down foot rest too.  Maybe a minifridge and stereo, built in tool kit, BBQ, toilet, pool table.....man the options are endless! 

Great job on it, I'm sure looking forward to seeing more pics of this one.

Are you going to put them in??? Would make a fun ride back there doing 80mph!!!

Thanks. If your friend needs more pics., I can help with that or other advice. Take another look at the last pic. It shows the gas charged spring thing in the center. It holds the top open no problem. I also made it so the top will unbolt and come off if needed. Options can come later.

Sorry no high speed rides here (sorry Mike). Not legal on the street anyway. Only fair ground rides, parades, etc.

I really have been giving some thought to dragging my 72 Challenger or 70 Cuda parts car home and giving it a shot at building a trailer. I think it is a great idea and I really like how it is turning out.

That is "a" challenger back seat. Just not the same one that will end up in there. I need to order some new covers for another set and install them. Also still need some trim parts. The rear panels in there now are green ones someone dyed black years ago. And still need two center caps for the wheels. But I am working on it. Like I said before this is about the half way point now so I know there is a lot more left to do.

Pics hooked up to the car should be comming soon. Still got to drill, fit, paint and install the hitch to the car. Should be in a month or two from now.

But I sure could use some help with the body and paint work. "hint hint"
