Challenger Trailer - progress

  Big thanks everyone.

Going to take it to work to show the guys tomorrow.
Took a nice ride today, got lots of those double takes and lots of thumbs up.

And it's not even finished yet!!!

I sure did make that too. I posted a pic of it here. I think on page 1 of this post. That's pics cool, your hitch custom made? And look at the pic I made on the computer to get a better idea what I was making before I started. And compair that pic to one from yesterday. It is a little longer in between the car and the trailer, but it's close.

I think it's '70s aftermarket.  The original owner of my car used to tow a trailer with snowmobiles, thus the trailer hitch and fog lights, for those foggy nights in New Hampshire.

Again, looks reaaaal good!

May be the color contrast but the real trailer actually looks larger that the back of your Challenger.

I think it is partly the color and it is also sitting several inches higher than the car.

Thats what some have said also. But it was a 71 Challenger same as the car.

I think you nailed it. The trailer does sit higher than the car, and was extended where the door would be. That and my air shocks on the car are low. Maybe I need to remove some leaves off the springs to lower the trailer down a bit.

Got home from work today, after taking the trailer. Got a ton of waves and thumbs up.

When I got home my wife says "take me for a ride". With the trailer still hooked. I said "SURE". "LETS GO"!

As we are just riding around some guy sitting on his front porch gets up and yells "LOVE THE CAR!" loud enough for us to here as we drive by. I could just tell she was just as proud as I was as we waved.  That moment was just so cool. Priceless to me.

Thanks, I'm not sure but I don't think the stripe will look quite right. But maybe? What do you think?
