hi from CA
« on: October 25, 2006 - 03:35:39 PM »
Hi, my name is Matt, im mostly interested in BMW and racing in mountains but i have come here to learn about your guys' theory on engine building since this is a more mature crowd, and check out all the Challenger's here.
My first car was going to be a very very clean Orange colored Challenger, thats what made me learn about cars, my friend had one and i helped him replace the interior and suspension.

I plan to own a near restored Challenger someday, which is going to be hard with there being less and less of them every day :(

Thats my baby. It has Bilstein sport shocks and struts, Eibach lowering springs, Suspension technique sway bars, 3.73 rear end LSD, almost restored interior, good paint minus dings from hitting it with crankshafts, differentials as i go to junkyards and sell BMW parts for a living right now.

Mostly wanted to get away from the younger crowd, though im 21, and learn some things about these cars while im here.

later

Don't let that BMW hold you back.  Start looking in those junkyards for parts you may need for your future ride.Hope to see an ORANGE Challenger pic soon.  Welcome to the site.

Welcome to the site SEB!!  BMW's are nice cars and they're fun to drive. (one of my friends has a '99 323IS)  Best of luck with your search for an E-body.  I got lucky and found my '73 as a complete car back when I was 17.  I'm now the same age as you, but I haven't gotten much done to it because I still have another year or more left of college.
