1973 Dodge Challenger factory black car. (SOLD)
« on: October 25, 2006 - 09:31:00 PM »
I need to sell either this Challenger.  This Challenger is a project car. It will need lower quarters; a trunk floor; and a passenger side rear floor.  The hood has a few rust spots.  The front fenders have a few rust spots that need repaired.  The cowl has a few rust spots.  The hood hinge area has a small amount of rust. The interior needs redone.  The car has disc brakes and a front sway bar. The rear is an 8-3/4.  It is an A/C car with power steering.  The car is a factory black car.  It has a lot of potential.  I am running it here first. If it does not sell I will dust it in color and put it on Ebay.  It is in a primer that has an orange tint to it.  It is not all rust.  I can send pics to anyone who needs them and the car can be seen in person.
Thanks,
Tod

I wanted to add that a rear dual exhaust pan is included.  The car has dual exhaust; exhaust manifolds and no tips.  The fuel tank also needs replaced.

Yes, I see I am getting too old to do things late at night.  LOL.  I am asking $3800 .  The car came with a 318 from the factory.  The car is not running at this time.  Thanks Gary.   :2thumbs:

Do you know the build date?  Does the VIN start with 38XXXX?

Thanks
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

No, the VIN number is not near there.  It starts in the 5's.

Whats wrong with the motor? Completely blown?  :working: Easy fix? Complete rebuild or is this something that can be fixed and driven home?  :burnout:

Thx
Jim

I don't know if anything is wrong with the motor.  When I got the car someone had just replaced the heads with the fast burn 318 heads.  The front and intake are on the motor and nothing else.  All the parts are in the trunk.  I know nothing else about the motor.

Do you have a picture of the motor and trunk bays?
Do you have any pictures of the under belly and the interior as well?
You stated the VIN tag is not there? Does it have the fender tag or buildsheet, clear title or anything to ID the car?

Thx,
Jim

I'll get the pics tomorrow.  The VIN tag is there, the fender tag is there, and the car has a clean title. My answer to Cody about the VIN threw you.  I'll clarify it.

Yeah I just caught it myself. Good to know that you have 3, how about a broadcast sheet?
