Last drive this season..
« on: October 26, 2006 - 04:30:35 PM »
The winter have arrived here in Norway. I live in a hilly area so I've been waiting some days for the roads to get in a condition that I could drive the Cuda to it's winterhome in another part of town. Took Some last pictures today.

Lucily it wasn't too cold, so it idled good after I've feed the trottle a couple of mins.

That's me.. I were going to town to get a haircut too!

Tried to take it uphill first, but there was no chance.. Lucily I could take it downhill also.

Couldn't hide this ting in a landscape as this. It sure is green!  :grinyes:

The snow had meldted on the main roads.

This is the garage where it'll sit until april/may. The last trip this year was over. We had some fun times this summer, both dragracing, roadracing and going on some long and shorter trips.

Made a little video just for kicks... (5.1 MB)

Poor cuda!  Has to go into hibernation.  Are you doing any work on her over the winter?

Come on, live up to the "Crazy Swede" idioms.  Throw some snow tires on it, and see what happens.  Could be fun!

Sweet ride!

I haven't laid any plans for the winter yet, but I'll get an new dashpad and refurbish the interior, that is for sure. And I've got to do something with the leaking powersteering. No more snow for this one, it would be a terrible wintercar anyways with the light rear and the powerful engine. Just have to look forward to 1 may, when we drive our annual season opening trip to a nearby town.

VERY NICE ride, but your scaring me to see that car going down that hill in the snow. Hey, I have nothing against driving it in the winter , but ice & snow don't mix well with our cars. I had mine out christmas eve & new years day. As long as the sun's out and the roads are clean & dry why not...It's good for the blood.......Spring will be here before you know it..  Vin.........

Nice AAR.  We are the opposite of you here in FL. It is 76 degees F. at 8:15 at night.  Can't wait for it to cool down some so I can work in the shop.  Boy what I'd give to have a garage like you have there. Post more pics of your car if you have them.

That's a SWEEEET sounding car!!!! I put both mine to bed a couple of weeks ago. Just in time as we got 2 1/2 ins of snow 3 days later. The fellows that live in the southern part of the country have no clue how hard it is to park the cars and remove the batteries for the next 6-8 months depending on how soon it snows or late spring is.
