That's a SWEEEET sounding car!!!! I put both mine to bed a couple of weeks ago. Just in time as we got 2 1/2 ins of snow 3 days later. The fellows that live in the southern part of the country have no clue how hard it is to park the cars and remove the batteries for the next 6-8 months depending on how soon it snows or late spring is.
I do.  It's a pain!!  That's why I moved south.

Wow, Thanks for the response, you are great!

VERY NICE ride, but your scaring me to see that car going down that hill in the snow.

No problem going down hill, going upphill is the problem. You just have to hold it on the brakes the whole time so that it doesn't build a momentum.. then you can't steer it.

jvike..Do they put Salt on the roads over there? or anywhere in Europe for that matter :dunno:

In my area the only salt the main roads, like the one I'm entering on pic #5. Farther south the use far more salt, especialy in the citys. They don't want people to use studed tires. But farther north where I live most people use studed tires.

You have a very nice AAR!  Love the pics, anymore from the summertime things you do with the car?

Sure!

I've made a few posts here on cc.c during the summer. Both the finalizing of the resto and some events, just do a search.

took mine for my last spin for awhile yesterday too.  :crying: :eek4:

Mike, It's alright, you'll be back on the road before me! Keep it up!

It's hard, but It's kind of nice too, then you can do some major work on it (if needed) and don't have to be in a hurry to get back on the road again. :thinkerg: If you like the sound you should have a look at this.

That's not very much snow. Here are some pictures I took a couple a years ago, My fathers car back then, an Audi A6 Quattro.

As you can see, it's the same place I drive the cuda in the film.

It'll probably be that much snow in january/february.

I'm from Lofoten, but live in Oslo now. Just now i'm in Afghanistan, earning money to spend on upgrades. :cooldancing:

I hope to be able to drive the Pimp Panther up to Lofoten next summer, and as you know, i'll have to drive through Mosjøen on the way...

I haven't laid any plans for the winter yet, but I'll get an new dashpad and refurbish the interior, that is for sure.

Spectacular pics and video, Jvike!

The weather forecast says snow in a few days also where I live, so probably I'll be storing it as soon as. Anyway I just have to do a little spin later tonight. It's dry and nice here today so I feel like I just have to as I never know when it's over!

I'm also planning to do my interior this winter. I've already purchased seat covers + foam front and rear and I was planning to buy repop inner door panels and seat backs too, but reconcidered while reading through feedbacks at the board. I rather use my existing spending some TLC on them.
I will also order a new carpet.

See ya around.

But the weather forecast says it will not snow in Oslo before the middle of november, yes?
*Being in total denial of the cold fact that winter is coming now*

Please, follow jvikes excellent example, and have somebody film your last spin!

Do you have Divx 6.4 install on your PC? If not go to http://www.divx.com/, it's free.
If dp have Divx try playing it in Mediaplay and change the ending to .avi after you download it. It works fine for me, just rechecked it.
