Just hate to see that. Which brings us back to the question. How many are really still out there?

The blue one does not look too bad. Bottom red one has dual exhaust valance.  R/T?

The top one is a 318 with a/c, it was moved at one time with a loader, unfortanatly the wheels were frozen in the gound causing the body to kink in the middle. I was going to take the vinly top trim off the car but thats about where it kinked.

The second has a nice 70's paint job with a fiberglass hood and fiberglass valance. The valance is formed into the fenders, and the custom grill with the bars screwed to it are nice too.

The last is a 383 R/T, mostly picked through. I took the rear seat pan out of it, only took me 6 hours. Not much left of the car. I also took the reverse backup light off and thats going to be a light in the shop. The one cool thing on that was rear tail panel above the lights can't remember exactly what its called.

Its been a few months since I have been out there, the guy is really reasonable and I was thinking of pulling a bunch of stuff and making use of it rather then it rotting away. I have also thought about buying the red and the blue ones for part cars.

The argent panel isn't to bad of shape from what I remember but it would need to be restored. When the lock from the trunk was remove it also dinged the edges where the lock is. I also know that they are hard to come buy which would probably make this a good thing to pick up.

I can't remember exactly what the fenders looked like, but I know I need a better pass side fender and I passed this one up after I looked at it.

Seat belts in the red car are gone, thats the care I cut the rear floor pan out of  :banghead:. The blue car I dont know it was so packed of stuff on the inside I couldn't see.

I am going to make another trip out there to try and get a better driverside windo regulator and probably pick some more stuff up, either way I will look around and make some notes of what I find.

I think there was 5 Challengers total out there. Couple were later models so I didn't take to much notice.

What you need to do is get some friends & car buddies together & go have a strip fest getting everything you can unbolt, no matter what! If it can be removed, do it! Save all the bolts & screws also, those kits can get to be expensive also!

Just remember back in the 70's & 80's WE ALL junked cars like that & did not care what was left of them. Now we are all struggling to get whatever we can. You could even check some 4-door & wagon B-bodies for things like dash pads & such!

The old saying goes...Once its gone,.... ITS GONE!!!

How reasonable?  What would he want for the rear tail light section on the first car?

Wow, those are sad sights...However, I see a very nice rear bumper and taillight assembly on that first blue '70 you posted.  I'd love to find some front and rear bumper brackets for a '70-'72 Challenger for a reasonable price...
