    This is a great story and I'll definitely be tuning in to read about the progress.  The parts looks amazing, but how much did it cost to get the wiper motor done, if you don't mind me asking....

    Steering Column - $300
    E Brake - $170
    Brake/clutch - $130
    Rear defroster - $100
    Hinges - $200
    Distributer - $230 (Had to buy a original Dist to replace my incorrect one, included in the price)
    Wiper motor - $230
    Carb - $300 (Bought off Ebay restored, I had no carb)
    Steering Box - $260
    Shifter - $100

    Gets very spendy fast.  :o

    Yikes.  As awesome as those parts look, I really cannot afford that.  In any case, looks like you are going to do a quality resto.   :thumbsup:

    Thats almost as much as I spent on my car :roflsmiley:  Sure do look nice, wish I could afford to get my stuff done.

    I started to take the door parts out a couple weeks ago and finished it up tonight along with the rear quarter window regulators. I must say I heard that the rear windows were supposed to be really bad to take out but I thought the quarter window stuff was way better then the door windows.  :dunno:

    A great story and an A66 Challenger is well worth a good resto job. Thanks for your good information and pics in this thread and also the prices you gave here for the jobs done. My car is also in need of some of this and it's very informative to me reading your posts.

    Unless they went up the wiper motors are on ebay cheaper, wont have the right numbers but ive seen them cheaper.

    I had a good timing removing the rear windows on mine too, well ps since it had the 1/4 on yet.  One of those things you need to do a few times, then its easy.

    I just got another box back today so more to come. I am going to have to stop after I get the last two things back and start buying sheet metal instead. I decided I would do some of the body work myself and have someone else prep and paint it to try and save some money.
