AAR stripes that would be fun to do!
Here are some more, really didn't get much done, painting brackets and K-frame but did get some chrome on.My neighbor stopped by and knows I hate polishing stainless so he did it for me. He has a lot of patience for that stuff and he is welcome to it.
That's Scooter the k frame watch dog. :smilielol:

All the black parts are in  PPG-DDC with DX685 flatting agent. The pictures of the parts and the black outs on the car look glossy in the pictures but that is just the flash of the camera.
They are semi-gloss. My camera skills are not the greatest as you can probably tell from my posted pictures.

wow, just read the entire thread, great job. i want to do my car right like yours, i dont have a place to wrk on ,so it all has to be sent out, hope mine turns out as nice as yours someday, i figure a minimum of a 2 year project, mine is fully undercoated, is it difficult to get off or does the balster get it all????  great job love the car,  send a flat bed for mine and i'll come to pick it up in a couple of years, cuz it will take me til then to gather the money! lol

I have been reading your thread as well. That looks like a fine project , love the black!
The blaster removed all the undercoating on mine but if you want to save some money remove as much of it as you can to save them some time.
I spent $650.00 to have everything blasted that was in the pictures. I had mine sand blasted not media as it would have cost a fortune that way. Just don't get the outer body panels sand blasted though. They did just the underside.
Good luck and if you need any help or questions answered feel free to ask.
With everyone on this board you should be well covered on anything you need.
Good luck.
Dave

Here are a few pictures of what I've been up to on the car this week. I want to try and have the heater box and the dash in by next week end.
The engine should be assembled next week ,IF the weather would be a little kinder I maybe able to get the suspension done also.

Oh yeah? You've already made me green from the very start of this thread! What a jerk!  :grinyes:

Sweet work you do, I'm enveous of what you can do and how fast you get er done. I'll be green as long as this forum exists. I might add that there are others here on the forum who have contributed to the metemorphasis as well.  :2thumbs:
