I've been to Daves shop, and bought some parts off of him. He does absolutely fantastic work, and every time I go there, I have to pry myself away. I think he hates it when I drool all over the cars, but he's nice enought not to stop me. I wish I had even the tiniest bit of his talent and knowledge. He has a first rate resto shop as far as I'm concerned.

Way to go Dave. I can't believe it's the same car you showed me when you got it. I might be in you area to do some Christmas shopping, so I'll give you a call to see if you are going to be around.

Well that's a tuff question to answer, we do regular collision, some fleet work and a lot of Mopar muscle cars. I've never considered labeling my shop as one line only as we are very flexable in what we do.Restoration shops sounds to stuffy for me.Myself and my employees enjoy the muscle cars the best.

I've kept the fact that we do muscle cars low profile  on web sites because I don't want everyone to think I'm trolling for work.

I don;t officially run a shop here, but I do some restos for myself so far and fix up wrecked stuff too.  Insurance jobs are good for keeping money coming in!  Looked like a nice shop there, figured you had some type of business or were rich :grinyes:

Time for a update, it's been a long week on the car but making progress. Here are some pictures of the back half work. I ordered the one piece trunk floor as the tail light panel mount part of the floor is bad and the new floor looks to be a nice piece.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!!!!

WOW looks excellent Dave. Your kicking butt on it. Going to be blowing right past me soon!!!!  What type of undercoating did you use for the quaters, that looks almost like factory!

Hey Farmboy, what is the red coating? Is that a sealer undercoating or? Looks like you do good work.  :2thumbs:

That is Speed liner bed coating. It's texture is very close to the factory look,to be oem looking I would have to apply it with a more uneven pattern. It is nice because I can add PPG paint to it, that makes it easier to cover when painting the trunks area.

Is it sprayed on with a special gun or does it come in cans or? I would like to do that to my front fenders before installing them. Thanks!

It's sprayed with a special gun . I use it for the black wheel well coating also. If you can find a dealer in your area they will spray it for you. It's useful on all kinds of things. This stuff has Kevlar in it so it is real durable. You can Google speedliner for a dealer locator.
If you are not far away I can do it for you also.

Looking good, I was curious to see how you did the quarters, looks crimped right?  My whole underside will be done in truck bed liner, never used the colored stuff, looks great
