A friend of mine is having some local mopar restorer do his challenger and the guy told him to do that work before it got to him, he wanted nothing to do with it :roflsmiley:
To be honest many times the owner will get the body back and decide reassembly is to risky on getting damage and have us put it back together.

Especially when you're cussing and throwing wrenches around!

Hey Dave,  how good is the fit around the tail panel on the repl. quarters??  I didn't see if you used the original or not. my driver side quarter is gone @ the tail panel  :crying:

btw, nice work and great progress  :2thumbs:

The fit was as close to a NOS as possible , it fit perfect.
These are great panels compared to the old skin type.
I have installed NOS before and had more fitting work then these, age and stampings take there toll on Nos parts .The new one piece quarters are not out yet for the Cuda but I used the full quarters on my Challenger. When the full quarters come out for the Cuda I'm sure I'll wish I had used them on it. I had to use the skin type on the Cuda and the area at the tail panel I reused the factory part.
If you can hold out for the full panel I would.

I was afraid of that. my uppers are in great shape but the driver side was damaged @ the tail. I don't need full quarters and don't want to pay the price, but I may have to on that side.

Here we go with another update.
I didn't get as far as I wanted but made some progress. It needs about one more day to be ready to reprime the whole thing.
Alot of stick blocking done but much more to do. :faint:

Awesome thread. Definately one of my favorites. Can't wait until my 'Cuda is off to the panel shop. Wish Goodmark would hurry up and release those new rear quarters! The wait is killing me!
