Winter Pics of the Cuda Today
« on: October 29, 2006 - 02:30:31 PM »
I haven't posted any pics since finishing the car this summer.  Don't worry about the fuel filter hanging from the rear as that is in another post!  The car has been a PIA lately.

Nice ride man. Although, you could have edited the snow out - Don't want to see any of that crap yet.

That much snow in Atlanta would shut everything down for three days!  :roflsmiley:

It's currently about -7C (which is about 19 F). I think the temp is quite a bit below average for this time of year.  The reason the Cuda was outside for the day was because I was using the garage while putting the snow tires on the wife's car.  There was alot of cussing going on because the Cuda's fuel pump quit working and I had to lie underneath the car on the snow and ice to get it going.  I was happy to try out my new Audi A4 Quattro (AWD) though.  It's fantastic in the snow and ice.  It'll be even better with winter tires next week.  I'll never go back to all seasons but that topic is another discussion altogether.

Wow  :wow:  :roflsmiley: snow. The closest I see snow here in Alabama most of the time is cotton fields. It's harvest time right now too. :2thumbs:

I'll bet it was cold crawling up under that cuda at 19F.  You da MAN :clapping:

If you grow up in the north you get used to fixing the car in the cold especially when you're young.  It's either fix it or walk!  I remember installing a circulating block heater at -30 when I was about 20.  I couldn't get the car started and I had to get to work.  At least you can dress for the cold.

Working in the cold builds character.
