70 71 Challenger Fender Differences?

Could someone post pics of the differences between 70 and 71 Challenger fenders. I remember but haven't found the thread where it's mentioned that it would be in the headlight bucket area? Thanks in advance

Chryco I do know the headlight bezels are not as deep on a 70 as on a 71. Makes sense that the headlight buckets as well as the headlights themselves would not be as recessed as far

I measured out the 70 & 71 headlight bucket on fenders here. They measure out the same distance from the front edge of the fender.  I believe the notch is the only main difference.

I have noticed that the inner headlight sits 1/4" forward using a 71 fender with a 70 grille

Thanks, but why was it on a '71?

You should be able to weld a piece to make it look the same the only thing is that would the head light bucket fit right?
