    :money: :money:  50/50 Tickets!!   :money: :money:

    We need to raise more money for the The CudaGuy's Cuda!!   We will have a Cuda-Challenger.com 50/50 contest for the next 2 months.  This will be very similar to all the 50/50s you are used to at shows and cruise-ins with a few changes.  This is how it will work...

    You can buy as many tickets as you'd like at $1 a ticket.

    Payment: Payment can be made either by check/money order or Paypal.  To send a check, please send me a private message to get the address.  To send paypal, use this email account LL_Davis@hotmail.com .  In either case, please be sure to tell me your C-C.com member name and email address with your payment.  If there are any fees assessed from your payment (usually only from credit card payments), I will round up the ticket purchase to the nearest dollar recieved.   If I recieve $97.35 after fees, you will receive 98 tickets and your $97.35 will go into the pot.


    		Your Tickets:  After receipt of payment, I will send you an email with your numbered tickets.  Your tickets will look something like the picture on the left.  I will put the matching numbered tickets into a container for the drawing.

    50/50 Total:  Keep an eye on this thread for updated 50/50 totals and participants.

    Deadline:  All payments must be recieved by Saturday, December 30th, 6pm EST.  The drawing will be on Sunday, December 31st at 2pm EST.  We will video tape Pixie pulling the winning ticket out of the container and post the winner on the board.

    Please:  Please publicize this 50/50 in your car clubs and friends and anywhere else you can.  Also, remember we need to keep all of this a secret and only discuss this here in the "Secret" board!!

    Let's get started so we can purchase that cuda!!

    Yes, of course!  j/k  It's because of the fees that paypal takes out when using a credit card.  A person may send me $25, but I only recieve something like $24.37.  So, we're using the "recieved" amount and rounding up for the tickets.  So for your $24.37, you get 25 tickets.  Does that clear things up?  :roflsmiley:

    Hey Lawfish.  The CudaGuy is a longtime member of the forum for about 5 years.  He's in the military and has done 2 tours of duty in Iraq and I believe is scheduled to be deployed again late next year to Afghanistan.  The members of C-C.com want to purchase him a cuda...since he has never owned one.  We have been raising money for about six months now and our goal is to be able to purchase a cuda and present it to him at Carlisle 2007.  Members of the forum meet there every year as our annual get-together.  He has no idea this is happening as I have fixed his member profile along with guests to be forbidden in the "Secret" section of the board.  He will be truly floored if we can pull this off.  Right now we have about $3K in donations and are doing an online 50/50 through December to try to raise funds.

    If anyone has any other ideas for fund raisers or can contact sponsors for donations, that would be terrific!

    I contacted Autozone and Advanced Autoparts, none of which make "Individual" contributions for such a cause as ours. >:(  I'll keep trying some others..... :naughty:

    Too bad we can't find some sponser that would help, maybe if we keep trying we might find somone. The 50/50 is a good idea but we need more people to get going on this or just a few will have a chance at winning and contributing to this. Hope my ticket purchase got to you okay Rev.
