That would be nice but certainly NOT expected and I wouldn't hold it against anyone who kept their half if they won!

Exactly.  Especially if we want to do this again...really, what would be the incentive other than for a good cause. Folks would only do this one time.  I'd rather pay out the amount and do it again...and pay out the amount...and maybe do it again.

Cannibal...just got yours and sent you your tickets and you did send us over $1,500!     Total payout is now $756.53!!  :clapping:

OK color me funny but the incentive here ... to me... is to help a Fellow Mopar Man sit behind the wheel of a Mopar...Heavan knows I don't have the money to fix my own but we could get a pasionate person behind a wrench or steering wheel again...

and yes I know my money will not be in the pot til Jan...but when I send it and I win this thing (come on folks) I will donate anything I win back to the cause

Well, you know I certainly won't turn it down!  :roflsmiley:  However, it really isn't expected that someone give up their winnings.

Yes it is, come on, admit it.....you're not gonna send the winner their money, just the amount they put in initially.....right?   :roflsmiley:   :roflsmiley:   :roflsmiley:   :smilielol:  :smilielol:

I think it will be awesome to send someone a check for over $700 to start the new year!  I'm all for the payout!

That is very generous of you.  However, if someone wants to strictly donate money, there is already a forum for that.

To me, the 50/50 is like gambling or the lottery.  I want to put in a little money with a chance to win big MONEY.

:iagree:
It would be great if someone donated some or all their winnings back to the cause, but no one should look down on somebody because they decide to keep their winning. Otherwise we would never be able to reach the dollar amount we are at so far.

Well I'd put the money to good use on my cuda, which has killed my "spendable"income for the next 12 years, but you can be darn sure I'd use some to buy a bigger chunk of tickets next round! Rich.

:iagree: If I win I will keep most of it and spend some on another 50/50 raffle. If I am expected to give the money back then you will never see me buy another ticket on the 50/50 raffle (and Im sure I am not the only one). On the other hand, if I get to keep the money then I will keep playing till I win and i bet doing it this way will yield a greater profit for the cudaguy fund.

Nothing wrong with being generous and noble and I know it comes from the heart but all this talk of who's doing what with their winnings  has me :pullinghair:  Who cares if the winner keeps their winnings or lets it all stay in the pot? Lets just push the tickets and let the profits go to getting that car for CG and let the winner do whatever they will with their loot. I don't even care if CG knows I donated or not. I'll be happier than a kid at Christmas when CG gets the news he's got a Cuda.  :grinyes:  Lets all try to spred the word for the tickets and drive this up to power ball level! Well, maybe that's a bit  :screwy: nothing wrong with trying.  :2thumbs:
