Thanks Barry for all you do in this area.  unfortunatley mine is still lost, maybe others from this site will be lucky and one of these will belong to their cars.

Have you checked the BIG list for your VIN? If not you should, I know I have more than one item here for an SE;

http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/found.shtml

Anone with a 1970 model from LA or Hamtramck should register. I only list the items I have here on the site. I know of hundreds of other items that other folks have as well, those items are not on the site since they are out of my control.

Yes i checked your website and you had a few s/e's one that was less then 100 off i think, i got pretty excited untill i got to the last 2 numbers and they were different. My s/e is missing the broadcast sheet and fender tag so i really have no idea how my car was optioned from the factory other then it was an s/e. I didnt restore it back to original but someday i might, just because s/e's were rarer, and if i ever did i would just like to know how it was optioned.

I will keep an eye out for broadcast sheets at local swap meets, i live in chevy country  :puke: so there isnt usually much mopar stuff at the swap meets, but what stuff there is usually doesnt get bought. ususally other information and literature doesnt sell very well either. Last year i was at a swap meet and this guy had a 1955 hudson service manual with a hand written letter from the president of hudson in it, guy wanted 20 bucks for the book and letter and i sure wish i woud have bought it, as far as i know he took it home with him. Also what is a reasonable price to pay for just a group of buildsheets.

Well, preferably as little as possible, any I buy I am willing to give away to the cars legal owner. So, the lower the purchase price, the less money I give away.

Humans can be odd creatures, a few folks I have sent stuff to have made donations to help out. Some reimburse me for the postage.  Others have not even bothered to say thanks or even let me know they arrived, I had to check the tracking numbers to know they made it.  :screwy:

My favorites are the ones that send something in that they have found to help keep the process going. I get some pretty cool mail.  :bigsmile:

Its so unusual for someone to go so far out of their way to do what you do Barry. The ones that dont get back with you probably think you have some huge corporate sponsor. Or they just dont realize the amazing gift that you gave them. Even though my car is just a 318 car it would absolutely make my year to have someone send me a build sheet to my car   :woo:

My car was a 318 auto also, but i would still LOVE to have my broadcast sheet or fender tag, I would gladly pay $100 for either of them.   And some people can just be plain rude, When someone goes out of their way to help you and spends their own money to do so the least you can do is say thank you.
