We won new product of the year award at SEMA
« on: November 02, 2006 - 01:39:52 AM »
Today our company was awarded the best new product of the year award in it's category. There are 100 trophies given out out of 6,000 vendors there.

It is a new car cover that just goes over the glass area that you can put on in 30 seconds.
You wouldn't understand it completely unless you saw how it worked.

I met some big cheeses today that want me to contact them as soon as the SEMA is over. They want to get our new poduct in the big auto parts store across the nation. I'll cross my fingers that this all comes about. When they're in the big retail chains, then I can REALLY celebrate.

Your absolutely right. It attatches with a strap under the trunk that snaps. You pull it over and then there is a strap that has it attach to the front of the hood edge.ALL scratch resistant...no harm to finish. It takes about 30-40 seconds to put it on or off.

I will get some pics of it very shortly.

Today, the buyers of Advance Auto and Auto Zone talked with us. Things are really looking positive about this new improved design we have. When they hand you a business card, that means "We want to keep talking to you." These guys play hard to get cuz they can. Rumor is the buyers from Auto Zone came in on a Lear Jet to Vegas.

Here are some pics of it. This concept is adaptable to boats, Limo's, snowmobiles, golf carts, trucks, SUV's, and motorcycles.

The adjustable straps is what makes it adaptable.

It's main purpose is to have a car cover that is portable. A car cover for when you are away from home. It is small in size when stuffed. (1 ft. pillow) Stuff bag is sewn onto car cover. Goes on in 30-40 seconds without any difficulty or major effort.

Keeps snow, ice off vehicle. Reduces interior heat by 40%.Keep interior from fading. Keep sap, leaves and debris from car. it's machine washable. Wholesales for 14-16 ea. Retails for 30-35 each. One size for sub compact, compact, midsize and full size cars. It fits well within each size category of car without having excess material draping.  SUV and truck design comes out in Spring. Limosine design is being done shortly. This product is already patented. Took 2-3 years to design after trial and error prototypes.
