Did does happen...stolen fender tag alert!!!

Incredibly someone stole the fender tag from a 1971 Challenger convertible at this years Moparfest in New Hamburg.
Talk about a low thing to do...I can't see how anyone could decide that they needed it more than the owner.
Anyway the owner would obviously like it returned...no questions asked.
I have the contact info up on my site:
Maple Leaf Mopars
Here's a pic of the victim:

The nerve of some people, I mean scum.
Hope the fender tag finds itself safely in the correct owners hands and soon.

Hey Dave,
I did not see it on the home page, do you have a link directly to the page with the information?
Thanks,

What a jerk!
You leave your nice car out for others to enjoy then they do stuff like this. No honesty left any more!!! Maybe it was a guy with a '71 convertible restoring his car or didn't have a fender tag and took this car's fender tag.
BTW, isn't it uncommon to see the body side moulding with the R/T side stripe and rear quarter louvers?
My Rallye was supposed to have the side louvers and strobe stripes but I was told that since I have the body side mouldings the louvers and strobe stripes got deleted.

That SUCKS! This isn't the first time I've heard of that happening. I worried about by flip-top cap being stolen, so I changed out the screws for fine thread stainless screws with self locking nuts on the inside of the trunk. That way more than a phillips screwdriver is needed to pull the cap. I'll change the screws on my fender tag now too.

Hey guys hopefully someone will see this and do the right thing. The car wasn't parked too far from mine at the show. I am pretty sure its a 318 car that has had some mods. I don't think you could get both the stripes and the body side mouldings from the factory but its kind of a moot point on a clone.
Barry, I just have the contact info and a pic on there now...I just came across the ad in the local automotive classified and couldn't believe someone would stoop that low.

This kind of thing has had me worried for along time as I take my 71 Challenger RT to car shows and cruise in's all the time. Sorry and hope you get it back.

How disrespectful could a person be? I sure hope the fender tag is returned to it's rightful owner. That is just too low.
