The Rally wheels look great!  Its a nice color change from the pink and black and sets off the car very nicely.

I like the ralleyes better myself too.  And thanks for the comparison pics.  Tried to express to my wife a while back how much difference wheels make on a vehicle, and yours was an exellent example!  :2thumbs:

The car looks great both ways to me.

The dog dish looks wicked though

Muscle car and hubcaps should not be used in the same sentence....

Rally's

Got to believe the thinking with poverty caps back then was why put alot into the stock wheel  :money: on a musclecar when 95% of the buyers were going to swap 'em for Mags anyways.
They didn't put 'em on there for their looks.

Some look better with Ralleys, some look better with Steelies and dog dishes, this is how mine will look when done...

Don't get me wrong on the dogdishes..to each his own.
I was referring to the Mfr. marketing ideas of the day.

Your car would obviously look good even if it was up on cinder blocks

Here is my opinion, the car looks great either way.  The rallye wheels give the car a classy look, but the steel wheels with dog dishes make the car look like it is out to brawl (a cool tough look).  Either way you can't go wrong.

I like the steelies when they match the body color of the car. The added trim rings dress them up a bit too. I know what chevyconvert was saying, the reason most of the steelie equipped cars were ordered that way was the owner was going to install aftermarket wheels anyway, so he saved some $$ by geting the standard wheels.

I think the B body cars, especially the 68-70's look good with body color matching steelies.

IMO, 15 inch rallyes just look perfect on an e-body. I happen to think they were the best looking factory wheel offered.

Dog dish caps were the cheap way to sell a car that the dealers knew the new owner would throw the steelies and caps in the trash and put on a nice set of Cragars or Keystones as soon  they drove off the lot.  :stirpot:

Looks great with the new wheels Larry.  Reminds me of how pleased I was when I got my Cuda a set of Rallyes.
